The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even though I didn't speak much Japanese. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with beautiful views overlooking the lake. I particularly loved the private onsen bath, which allowed me to have a traditional Japanese onsen experience in the privacy of my own room.
No complaints, everything was perfect.

I recently had a very relaxing stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it. the location is easy to find and offers great views onto the lake. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure our limited Japanese wasn't a problem. The attention to detail was superb, especially in the private onsen bath which provided a truly authentic and private onsen experience. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner set, featuring the most amazing beef I've ever tasted, was simply superb. This hotel definitely offers a very Japanese experience.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. The room was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great. The location was convenient for our needs and we appreciated the free parking.
The private onsen in our room was a bit small and not covered from the rain. We had some rainy weather during our stay and were unable to use it as a result.

The location of this hotel was great! We could easily find it and the staff were professional and friendly. The food offered for dinner and breakfast was superb and delicious. the private outdoor bath tub was a nice touch and it made us feel relaxed at the end of the day.
The private onsen provided in our room was too small, and the worst part was that it wasn't covered from rain. Due to the poor weather, the onsen wasn't usable throughout our stay.

This traditional Japanese inn is set in a peaceful and serene location with lovely views of a nearby lake. The kind and accommodating staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms are spacious and feature private balconies or outdoor bathtubs, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy delicious traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner served in-room or communal spaces. With amenities such as shuttle bus service, massage chairs, and private soaking tubs, the stay is enjoyable and relaxing.
Some guests might find the price point a bit high given that some of the dishes in the kaiseki meals can be quite ordinary.
